Hi, I am Cheryl Wheeler - a leadership coach and Owner of Wheeler Leadership - a boutique leadership development coaching and consulting company based in Oak Park, IL. For over 25 years, the foundation of my work has been built upon my passion and ability to guide others in a direction of growth. I started my career as a social worker and learned early that I possessed a true gift of connecting with people at deep, authentic levels. This ultimately launched me into two decades of a successful career in human resources and consulting. Throughout my accomplishing career in HR and consulting I recognized that the greatest need and largest gap in organizations is leadership development. For that reason, in 2018 I left the corporate world to start a leadership development company devoted to helping develop conscious, compassionate and courageous 21st century leaders and cultures. Creating a socially responsible company that values diversity and inclusion, has a strong social mission and is making a difference in the world was a top priority of mine.

My work with companies and individuals is transformational, and my approach is one of compassion and accountability. Leaders are inspired to win over the hearts and not just the minds of their employees. Leaders are educated on the power and result of self-awareness and conscious living. As a people and culture authority, I have coached countless teams to be more collaborative, productive, innovative and engaged, and pride myself on my intuitive ability to create cultures of deep connection and trust. With a Master of Social Work, advanced training in human behavior, psychology and coaching, and extensive business and executive leadership experience, I provide powerful guidance to help both companies and individuals breakthrough and rise to their fullest potential.
